You’ve probably seen or heard of a traditional foot soak with salts or essential oils to either relax or revive the feet. As the feet soak, the sweat glands open and allow the absorption of the water and minerals to enter the body. During an ionic foot detox, ions are pumped into the water (that’s what the small black bobber is doing), the feet absorb those ions and send them out to the cells, which then push the toxins from the cells and the body. You can visibly see the water change as your feet are soaking as well as debris in the water.
Some of the benefits of a foot detox include better sleep, increased energy levels, clearer thinking, and reduced pain and inflammation.
Our foot detox service is meant to be a non-invasive detoxifying experience. If you are concerned about toxins, other non-invasive options for detoxification include infrared sauna or working out (sweating). It is not a medical device or treatment and does not prevent or cure any specific conditions. Avoid the foot soak with broken skin or open wounds, diabetic neuropathy, or if you have a pacemaker and always consult your doctor with any medical related concerns.
